Dr. Michaud is a dual-board certified critical care and infectious disease clinical pharmacist. He received his PharmD from Ferris State University and completed two years of residency specializing in critical care medicine with an emphasis on infectious diseases at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI.
Dr. Michaud spent 8 years as a cardiothoracic and medical ICU clinical pharmacist overseeing pharmacotherapy for LVAD, ECMO, heart/lung transplant, and cardiac surgery patients. He has authored more than a dozen original research manuscripts, has presented nationally and internationally, and is active in multiple medical societies.
He has extensive experience in infectious disease diagnostics including PCR, and his passion is translating laboratory and molecular data into personalized, patient-specific antimicrobial selections.
